Steve brings 35 years’ experience and leadership in the Higher Education services industry. His focus is on continuous improvement, cost-effective budgeting, operational excellence, team building, customer and client satisfaction. One of his key strengths is identifying and addressing the root cause of issues and producing data-based decisions that align operations to the corporate and client vision, values, and goals. As an out-of-the-box thinker, Steve rises above challenges and uses his excellent communication skills to develop synergistic relationships.

Career Highlights

Prior to working with Soriant, Steve was a District Manager with Sodexo, where he led a large Upstate New York region including private and public higher education accounts. He also worked with Region Support Teams to align all campus dining’s business plans with the college/university master plans to profitably boost retention. Steve focuses on understanding the customer and identifying key challenges through conducting financial, human resource and operational audits, surveys, interviews, and comprehensive data analysis. Then instituting data-based changes to improve satisfaction and account retention.

Steve partnered with top sales teams for retention and new sales proposals to build new sales programs focused on retail, resident dining, and catering programs to align with current trends and RFP directives.
